I am a ceramist and restorer of sculptures.
I studied fine sculpture restoration at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague, specializing in ceramics and porcelain. Currently, in addition to freelance work,
I work in the National Gallery in Prague, where I am mainly devoted to the collection fund of Asian art.
The Jatakidu project began to form out of my need to create more than to restore. Nowadays, these two skills are fused and balanced. In my work, I am trying to combine different ceramic techniques and playfully explore the alchemy of glazing and firing. An important inspitarion for me is mythology, stories and symbolism.
I care about manual craftmanship and its imprint on the objects. I follow the concept of object positivity - perfect imperfectionity. ♡
